The funeral for Elizabeth (Betty) Muriel MacDonald (Vuozzo) was held Wednesday, December 30, 2009, from Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home to St. Mary's Church, Montague. The funeral mass was celebrated by Fr. Bob Coady. Readings were proclaimed by Lorraine Vatcher and Carla Palmer. Prayers of the faithful were offered by Deedee Vuozzo. The funeral mass was sung by Leith and Evy Lou McCarron. The entrance hymn was Here I Am Lord; the psalm response, The Lord Is My Shepherd; offertory hymn, The Shepherd King; communion hymn, Lord I'm Coming Home; song of farewell, Songs Of The Angels; and the recessional hymn, Amazing Grace. The altar servers were Howard McInnis, Tony Molloy, George Jackson and Harry Nabuurs. Pallbearers were Justin James, Jeremy Vuozzo, Jason Vuozzo, Michael Vuozzo, Norman Ellis and Chad Boshuis. Flowerbearers were Lorraine Vatcher, Joanne Murphy, Trina Gosbee, Carla Palmer, Lori Anne Haight and Bobbi Joe Ellis. Honorary pallbearers were Arthur Clements, Len Knox, Jackie Garnhum, Fred MacKenzie, Murdock Hume, David McGuigan, Andy Clarey, Emerson Murphy and Blaine Kerr. The interment took place in the St. Mary's Parish Cemetery, Montague.
