The funeral service for John "Malcolm" MacDonald was held Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, from Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home Chapel. The service was conducted by Rev. Mark Buell. During the service, the music selections were Softly And Tenderly and How Great Thou Art. Pallbearers were Larry Coulson, Robert Coulson, Kenny MacKinnon, Darren MacDonald, Everett MacLeod and Kenny MacDonald. Flowerbearers were Keshia MacDonald, Jaime Clark, Twila Hamilton and Chrissie MacDonald. Among those attending the service were management, staff and residents of French Creek Lodge, Lower Montague. The committal took place in the Caledonia Cemetery.
