The memorial service for Karen Anne MacDonald of Long River, P.E.I., and formerly of Summerside, beloved daughter of Lorraine MacDonald and Nelson (Ruth) MacDonald and special friend of Kevin Clow and his daughter Melanie, was held on Monday, March 1, 2010, from the East Prince Funeral Home Chapel, Summerside, by Rev. Brian MacDougall. Readings were read by Fr. MacDougall who also led in the prayers of the faithful, proclaimed the Gospel and delivered the homily. Two solos, "Halleluiah" and "Go Rest High on that Mountain" were played and sung by Allan Sonier. Also in attendance were employees and representatives of the Summerside police department and owners and staff of MacEwen Farms. Interment will take place at a later date in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Arrangements were entrusted to the East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside.
