The Funeral Service for Joseph "Ambrose" MacKinnon was held on Thursday, July 29, 2010, from Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home Chapel. The Service was conducted by Rev. Stephen Thompson. During the service the music selections were "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art".
The Pallbearers were Vincent Yorston, Richard Knox, Billy Kemp, David MacKinnon, Sterling Conrad and Eric Weatherbie.
The Royal Canadian Legion formed an Honour Guard at the Funeral Home Chapel.
The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 8, Montague, held a Service of Remembrance at the Funeral Home on Thursday afternoon. The Service was conducted by Comrade Sterling Conrad. The Flag Bearers were Comrades Grant Dixon and Eric Weatherbie.
The Committal took place in the Community Park Cemetery, Montague.
