The funeral for Helen M. MacLean of Charlottetown and French River and formerly of Borden-Carleton was held Thursday, January 9, 2010, in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel, Kensington, where the service was conducted at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Barbara Wagner. Remembrances were shared by Eleanor Lamont. Soloist Jean Martin rendered the selection "Mansion Over the Hilltop". Congregational hymns were "Shall we Gather at the River" and "In The Sweet Bye and Bye". Organist and pianist was Linda Paynter. Attending the funeral were representatives of Fitzgerald and Snow. Pallbearers were Mark MacLean, Adam MacLean, Shane Mountain, Jonathan MacLean, Alexander MacLean and Glen MacKay. Flowerbearers were Megan Brumwell, Laura Boyd, Raelynn MacLean and Roxanne MacLean. Interment was in Geddie Memorial Cemetery, Spring Brook.
