The funeral for Kenneth Edward MacPherson of Woodstock, N.B., and formerly of Kensington and Freetown was held Thursday, December 17, 2009 in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel, Kensington, where the service was conducted at 1:30 p.m. by Rev. Jack Spencer. Readings were given by Paige MacPherson and Sarah Birch. Soloist and guitarist Allan Sonier rendered the selections "Go Rest High on the Mountain" and "Hallelujah". Attending the funeral were staff of the Kensington Post Office. Interment was in People's Cemetery, Freetown.
