McLURE, Margaret Rose
The memorial service for Margaret Rose McLure of Crapaud, was held Monday, December 21, 2009 from the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud to the South Shore United Church, Tryon, where the service was conducted by Rev. Karen MacLeod-Wilkie. The organist was Kaye Morrison and pianist was Jennifer Morrison Spence. Words of remembrance were shared by Rev. Karen MacLeod-Wilkie and Richard Smith. Congregational hymns were "Jesus You Have Come to the Lakeshore", "As the Deer Pants for the Water", and "In The Bulb There is a Flower". "O Perfect Light" was sung by the choir. A musical selection, "There is a Time", by Linnea Good was played. Honorary Pallbearers were Richard and Cathleen Smith, John and Judy Cousins, Bill and Sylvia Ridgway, and Annabel Roberts. Urn bearer was her daughter, Karen MacVittie. Flower bearers were her grandchildren Darlene, Luis and Todd Boisvert. Also in attendance were members of Victoria Women's Institute, the Hampton School Girls, Department of Highways, Landmark Cafe, and Victoria Village Commission. Arrangements entrusted to Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud.
