The funeral service for David Livingstone Morrison was held on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, from Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Roger MacPhee conducted the service. During the service, the music selections were In The Garden and How Great Thou Art. The recessional music was When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder. Pallbearers were Orien Smith as well as nephews, Marty, Earl, Garth, Scott and Elliott Morrison. Flowerbearers were nieces, Gail and Maude Morrison. Among those in attendance was management of the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge. The committal service took place in Belfast Cemetery.
