PERRY, Viola
The funeral for Viola Perry, wife of the late Gerald Perry, of Summerside, was held on Thursday, January 7, 2010, from the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, to St. Paul's Church, Summerside, where funeral mass was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Brian MacDougall, who delivered the homily, assisted by Deacon Cyrus J. Gallant, who proclaimed the Gospel and led in the prayers of the faithful. Cross bearer was Jim Arsenault. Candle bearers were Ray Brown and George Olscamp. Incense bearer was Harold Murphy. The first reading was given by Barbara MacInnis and the second reading by Peter Richard. The processional hymn was "Sing With All the Saints in Glory". Hymns were "Amazing Grace", "J'irai la Voir un Jour" and "Taste and See". Recessional hymn was "How Great Thou Art". Organist was Geraldine Hynes. St. Paul's Choir was under the direction of Kay Profit. Ushers were Vivian Gallant and Millie Thomarat. Parking attendant was Gordie Arsenault. Attending the funeral liturgy were representatives of the Parkview Seniors and St. Paul's CWL. Pallbearers were Joey Richard, Lloyd Richard, Peter Richard, Gerard Richard, Bruce Richard and Kenneth Richard. Flower bearers were Bernice Gallant, Barbara MacInnis, Robert Bernard and Deborah Gillis. Interment will take place later in St. Paul's Church Cemetery.
