The funeral for Etta M. Pidgeon of Perrin's Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, and formerly of Spring Brook was held Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel, Kensington, where service was conducted at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Al Meloche. Words of remembrance were shared by Clair Sudsbury. A scripture reading was given by Corey Montgomery. Scripture readings and prayers were given by J. Garth Gillespie. Congregational hymns were "They Who Trod the Path of Labour" and "Til The Storm Passes By". Recessional hymn was "I Know Who Holds Tomorrow". Organist was Gwendy Murphy. Attending the funeral were members of the St. Thomas ACW, Spring Brook WI, St. Mary's Anglican Church Summerside Ladies Fellowship Group, staff of Northesat Kings Education Centre, Canning N.S, representatives of the New London Rural Community Fire Department and board of directors and representatives of Perrin's Clinton View Lodge, Clinton. Pallbearers were Gordie Montgomery, Paul Montgomery, Merrill Montgomery, Peter Pidgeon, Mark Sudsbury and Philip Sudsbury. Flowerbearers were Karen Carragher, Laurie Blackett, Sandra Blackett and Tracy Pidgeon. Interment was in St. Thomas Anglican Church Cemetery, Spring Brook.
