The funeral service for Wilfred Sydney Rogers of Summerside, formerly of Augustine Cove, was held Jan. 25, 2010, from the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, where service was conducted by Rev. Karen MacLeod-Wilkie. Organist was Kaye Morrison. Hymns were "Precious Lord Take My Hand", "The Lord's My Shepherd" and "Go Now in Peace." Musical selections were "Seven Spanish Angels" and "Ships in Heaven." Pallbearers were Mike Rogers, Norris Rogers, Gorden Mayhew, John Malone, Steven Stewart and Anthony McCourt. Flower bearers were grandchildren Belinda Stewart, Candace Rogers, Matthew Rogers, Jackie Rogers, Terrance Rogers and Mitchell Francis. Also attending were members of Morley Wood & Sons, McCain Foods and Waste Management Service. Interment took place in Tryon People's Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud.
