The funeral for David N. Sinclair of Springfield was held Friday, March 5, 2010, in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel, Kensington, where the service was conducted at 10 a.m. by Rev. Jack Spencer. Personal remembrances were shared by Dianne Brander. The duet of Judy McGregor and Wendell Cameron rendered the selection "Because He Lives". Congregational hymns were "Abide With Me" and "The Last Mile of the Way". Organist was Darlene Harding. Honorary pallbearers were Eric Sinclair, Ellis Burgoyne, Lindsay Seaman, Wendell Murphy, Graham Deighan, Brian Watts, Travis Holmes, Vernon O'Connor and Bernard Murphy. Pallbearers were Roger Sinclair, Wendell Sinclair, Neal Merritt, Ewen Sharpe, Ricky Loo and Ralph Paynter. Flowerbearers were Shawn Taylor, Joni Rogers, Lori Taylor, Janelle Sinclair and Miranda Merritt. Interment was in Summerfield United Church Cemetery.
