The funeral for Valerie M. Thompson of Thompson Point Road, Margate, was held Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel, Kensington, where the service was conducted at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Anne Dalziel Singer. Congregational hymns were "In The Garden", "In the Bulb There is a Flower" and "Church in the Wildwood". Organist was Edith MacLeod. Attending the funeral were members of the session of the Margate Pastoral Charge and the CGIT. Interment was in Geddie Memorial Cemetery, Spring Brook.
