The funeral for Alan Frederick Turner was held Friday, August 6, 2010, at Belvedere Funeal Home Chapel where Rev. Joy Noble conducted the service. The organist was Helen MacRae. During the service, Brad Trivers and Murray Murphy sang Country Roads and Love Me. The eulogy was shared by Meredith Smith. The pallbearers were Stephen Glover, Allison Smith, Kevin MacLeod, Bobby Roberts, Jason Turner, Myron Ford and Darren Turner. Flowerbearers were Andrew Smith, Richard Turner, Alana Smith and Meredith Smith. Interment took place in Winsloe South Cemetery. Those attending the service included staff of Donagh Regional School, Trinity United Church UCW, Harrington WI and staff of Winsloe Farm Equipment.
