The Funeral Service for Jannetje "Yannie" VanSchuppen (VanDyk) was held on Saturday, August 14, 2010, from Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home to Hillcrest United Church, Montague. The service was conducted by Rev. Anthony Ware. Words of Remembrance were delivered by Yannie’s son, Yochem VanSchuppen. The organist was Anne White. Congregational Hymns were "What A Friend We Have In Jesus", "The Old Rugged Cross", and "Sweet By and By".
The Pallbearers were Garnet Ross, Scott Mellish, John Rowe, Chuck Mills, Garth Myers and Ralph Moore.
The Flower Bearers were Megan MacDonald and Julie Enman.
The Committal took take place in the Union Cemetery, Union Road.
