The funeral service for Jannetje (Yannie) VanSchuppen (VanDyk) was held Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, from Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home to Hillcrest United Church, Montague. The service was conducted by Rev. Anthony Ware. Words of remembrance were delivered by her son, Yochem VanSchuppen. The orgainst was Anne White. Congregational hymns were What A Friend We Have In Jesus, The Old Rugged Cross, and Sweet By and By. Pallbearers were Garnet Ross, Scott Mellish, John Rowe, Chuck Mills, Garth Myers and Ralph Moore. Flowerbearers were Megan MacDonald and Julie Enman. The committal took place in the Union Cemetery, Union Road.
