The Funeral Service for David George Whitlock was held on Sunday, August 8, 2010, from Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home Chapel. The Service was conducted by Bob MacGregor. A Scripture Reading was done by cousin, Robert White. Words of Remembrance were given by David’s sister, Ashley Whitlock and his cousin, Debby Beck. David’s cousin, Tammy Auchterlonie read Remembrances that were written by Sherry White. The organist was Anne White. During the service a Ladies Quartet sang, "Precious Lord, Take My Hand", "Amazing Grace" and "Just A Closer Walk With Thee". For the Recessional Hymn they sang "Go Now In Peace".
The Pallbearers were Kevin Buchanan, Cory MacDonald, Curt Campbell, Darren Crane, Chris Walsh and Rodney McTague.
The Flower Bearers were Donna Campbell, Julie MacDonald, Gineen Nicholls and Louise Sorrey.
Among those in attendance the Mayor, Councilors and Staff of Town of Montague, Retired and Active Staff of the Kings County Memorial Hospital.
The Committal Service took place in the Community Park Cemetery, Montague.
