On Wednesday September 2, 2009, MCPEI will be hosting a Mawio’mi at Confederation Landing Park.    

  The Park is located on Charlottetown ’s waterfront about 400 yards from the marine terminal where cruise ship passengers disembark.

 On September 2nd, Holland America ’s Eurodam will be in port. With 2044 passengers and a crew of 929, the Eurodam is the largest cruise ship to visit Prince Edward Island. 

  With the sounds of the drummers and the sights of the dancers in regalia we are confidant that Charlottetown’s first Mawio’mi will be a great success. The plan is to have 2 large tents in the park, one for the drummers & dancers and one for the crafters.
