The funeral for the late Theresa Mary Kirev beloved wife of Ivan Kirev of O'Leary was held on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 4, 2009, from the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton, where funeral service was conducted at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. Ewen Moase who brought words of comfort to the family. The scripture reading was addressed by Marsha Costello and Kim Cooke. Tributes to "Ma" were given by Katrina Mugford and Nikki Arsenault. During the service granddaughter Geri-Lynn Trainor, accompanying her self on guitar, rendered the hymns "What a Friend We Have in Mother," "God of the Mountain" and "Rock of Ages." Everyone presant for the funeral were considered as Honorary pallbearers. The active pallbearers were, Shawn Mugford, David Costello, Donnie Mugford, Jarred MacEachern, Jeremy Gallant, Roger Milligan. The flower bearers were Rhonda Moore,Dillon Ellis,Courtland Moore, Aneasa Ramsay, Gracie Ramsay, Meadow Ramsay Jodi Moore, Skyler MacEachern, Jessica McMillan. Interment was in the Free Church of Scotland Milo with Rev.Ewen Moase officiating.
