The funeral for Gordon Blair Wallace, beloved husband of June Wallace, of Fortune Cove, was held Monday, November 30, 2009, from Elmsdale Church of The Nazarene at 11 a.m. with Rev Sheila (Graham) McCrea-MacCallum officiating. The scripture readings were Psalm 116:1,2 and 12-14; John 3:16, 17; and Romans 8:37-39. The Church of the Nazarene men's fellowship choir sang Amazing Grace and Peace In The Valley. A solo was provided by Pastor Sheila, who sang In The Garden. Pallbearers were Ed Mugridge, Allan Irving, George MacCaull, Karl Smallman, Layton Wallace, and Barry Gallant. Flowerbearers were Shaylyn Wallace, Colin Wallace, Brady Wallace and Tara Wallace. Interment followed in the Church Cemetery.
