During her first year of owning Sir Isaac's Restaurant & Mr. Gabe's Pub, Ann Dewar has learned lots about the food industry, which is quite amazing, considering she has served literally thousands of people over the past 30 plus years as a waitress in our area.
Since last year, Ann has learned that there are wonderful people in our community who support her. She has also learned that when your customers tell you something, you must listen. During the past few months, diners have told Ann what they want in their favorite local restaurant and pub and she is ready to deliver everything they have asked for and more!
There have been a few growing pains, like the misprint on the menu where the Club Sandwich didn't have fries (who wants a Club without fries? Not us, so now there are plenty on the plate!) Or the fact that there was a computer glitch on Mother's Day and the Moms didn't get their 10 per cent discount. Ann invites all Mothers who dined at her restaurant on Mother's Day to drop in for a free dessert as a way to make up for this oversight.
With the recent addition of well-known cook Wendy Crane to her friendly staff, Ann looks forward to a very busy summer season, serving you a great quality meal at a fair price, in a wonderful atmosphere!
Ann has re-vamped the menu (leaving your favorites) and adding many other options. You wanted more finger food, so Sir Isaac's now has new appetizer items, including many types of Nachos! Try the new "dip of the day", sure to be a favorite. And the best item for the gang? The new large munchie platter is a great item to share on the out-door patio Deck overlooking the gorgeous Montague River.
We all like deals, and Ann and her staff understand this, so from now on, kids eat free every Monday from 4 pm to close. That's right! Kids 12 and under eat free when accompanied by an adult (one child per paying adult!)
Ann reminds all her customers that refills (for soft drinks, tea & coffee) are always free at Sir Isaac's & Mr. Gabe's Pub, and that makes the deal even better!
Summer hours have us open longer to serve you on Thursday, Friday & Saturday until 9pm.
Mr. Gabe's Pub offers live entertainment Friday and most Saturday nights featuring local performers, like The Waterman Blues Band, singer Amanda Jackson, and many other talented artists.
