The Montague Lions Club will be providing area residents age four to 14 with medical bracelets at no charge beginning Saturday, August 1. Club member William Rourke said anyone needing a bracelet or necklace specific to a medical condition can go to the Montague Curling Club from 10am to 2pm that day to place orders which will be taken to Shopper’s Drug Mart, who are supplying the items. Engraving will also be provided by the club. The initiative is part of the Lions Club’s national No Child Without program that some clubs in other provinces have already began.
