Several photos were taken throughout West Prince, Oct 31 - Nov 1 as six fires involved vacant structures.

Nail Pond vacant structure burns late into night Oct 31

Another vacant structure located on Shore Road, Route 14 near Josie Shang Road, Nail Pond, was completed levelled due to fire. Tignish Volunteer Fire Department battled flames into the late night hours, Oct 31. Smoke and small flames are still reported on Nov 1.    Cindy Chant photo

O'Leary vacant home destroyed by fire Oct 31

A large two storey vacant house was destroyed by fire, Halloween night. O’Leary Volunteer Fire Department were called shortly before midnight to put out what was left of the structure. Caption for Cape Wolfe cottage fire:

Little is left at was once believed to be a cottage located on Route 14, Shore Road, Cape Wolfe. The structure was believed to be owned by a resident who lives off-Island. O’Leary, Miminegash Fire Department was called shortly after 11 pm to the highly treed property. Remnants were still burning in the early morning hours, Nov 1.    Cindy Chant photo
