Enough is Enough

Sir: I read the letter to the editor from the fella who is ticked with this gas deal ("Reader questions gas price increases," The Observer, April 25, 2009).

Most people around town (Sarnia and surrounding areas) have jobs, so they don't say too much, but people like myself who aren't working and can't find a job have a difficult time dealing with the problems of owning a home and trying to keep it running, let alone trying to find a job, and on top of that, trying to pay these ridiculous gas prices.

It's hard enough trying to live, but people who have jobs just sit back and say nothing. Let them lose their job and collect Employment Insurance (if they get that) and survive. I'm sure then they would be thinking about the people who are unemployed.

So my feelings are the same -- the government (the MP or MPP or whomever) should start to say "Enough is enough!"

They should stop gouging and put a fuel cap on this whole gas issue.
