Grade six students from across Canada were invited to create posters expressing their ideas about immunization and healthy children. Jason Bernard, from Alberton, was the 2010 National Immunization Poster Contest winner for Prince Edward Island. Health Minister Carolyn Bertram and Alberton-Roseville MLA Pat Murphy were on hand recently to congratulate Jason. The Public Health Agency of Canada and the Canadian Coalition for Immunization Awareness and Promotion hold the poster challenge in conjunction with the Canadian Immunization Conference every two years.
