Four-year-old Kendra Martin of St Edwards enjoyed jumping into a straw pile at the Fourth Annual Arlington Scarecrow Festival this past weekend. During the day many youngsters turned their creative talents towards creating eye-catching scarecrows. This year’s “mystery judge” was weather reporter Kevin “Boomer” Gallant of CBC News: Compass. The single scarecrow category winner was Dallan Gaudet of Tignish, while Keisha Blanchard won the group competition.
