Improvements were annouced to five sections of road on PEI recently.

Among the projects are two involving West Prince roads - resurfacing on .5 km of Route 2 at the intersection of Route 133, Ellerslie Road and resurfacing on .9 km of Route 152, Union Road, in St. Louis.

“The improvements we plan to make in this round of tenders are focussed entirely on rural Prince Edward Island,” said Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Ron MacKinley.

“These are roads used by our agricultural and fisheries sectors to get their products to market, by residents, and by tourists who come to the Island to see the sights.”
